Linda A. Baugh
Linda Baugh was born in Colorado where she spent her childhood. Not long after she was married, Linda and her husband moved to southern California where Linda attended college. The Baugh family, which included a husband, three kids, two dogs and a cat, moved to the country. After fooling around with raising cows, horses, pigs and a garden for food, it seemed easier to go back to school for more art classes, so Linda attended College, followed by many art workshops and seminars.
Mrs. Baugh started and was responsible for setting up shows for different artists . She also set shows for A.R.C., a program for developmentally disabled adults. Linda taught art classes for the Lincoln Arts & Culture Foundation. She also taught arts and crafts to children and teens. Linda has won many awards in juried shows and her paintings are in many private art collections.
Linda is always searching for new avenues. She works with oil, pastels and watercolor. To the artist, her favorite medium is the one she is working with at the moment. Her paintings include a wide variety of subject matter from photo realism to abstracts. Some of Linda’s latest paintings reflect her mood in regard to today’s political environment.
